Enrichment
Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes are a cornerstone of the Marietta Johnson School of Organic Education. We support a holistic development of each student, focusing on creativity and self-expression so students discover their innate potential.
The below enrichment classes are classes the students participate in weekly as part of their normal school schedule. Visit our page devoted to classes open for community enrollment for details on additional á la carte enrichment opportunities.

The Outdoor Classroom
The Outdoor Classroom is a daily part of the life of the students at Fairhope Organic School.
The goal of our outdoor classroom is to promote learning through nature by fostering a kinship with the great outdoors. Our campus offers the junior naturalist endless topics to explore and gain an understanding of. Some of the subjects our students may learn about include: environmental stewardship, respect for wildlife, nature journaling, compass and map navigation, and identifying native and invasive plants.

Conservation & Resources Class
Immersive, hands-on outdoor education focused on environmental stewardship. Students engage in land management projects, water quality testing, and wildlife observation. By building a relationship with local ecosystems, they develop a sense of responsibility for the land. Perfect for students looking for deep nature connection and real-world science applications.
