The information below details our Summer Camp and Afterschool programs, which are hosted on our beautiful, forested campus in partnership with Little Roots, Big Adventures. Designed to bring the “Organic” philosophy to life through immersive nature-based learning, these programs invite youth from across the community to trade the classroom for the canopy. Whether your child is exploring coastal ecosystems in our summer sessions or spending their afternoons building forts, foraging, and engaging in outdoor exploration during the afterschool program, every experience is rooted in curiosity and a deep connection to the natural world.
Adventure Awaits Under the Canopy
Little Roots is excited to offer a holistic summer experience where education, adventure, and pure enjoyment intertwine. Held on the beautiful, historic Fairhope Organic School campus, our camps focus on exploring native plants, coastal ecosystems, and wild spaces.
Every week at camp is an opportunity to grow. Campers are grouped by age to ensure the activities—from mud kitchens to land stewardship—are perfectly tailored to their developmental stage. Activities: Weekly field trips, fort building, nature crafts, yoga and mindfulness sessions, and old-fashioned outdoor play.
Cost: $250 per week
Ages: 3–15 (grouped by age)

Adventure, Every Week
Our aftercare experience is designed to feel like childhood the way it’s meant to be. Located on our forested campus, students engage in hands-on ecology, fort building, and old-fashioned play.
Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Ages: 3-15
Transportation: Older children can take the BRATS bus, which picks up students from their school and drops them off directly at the Organic School campus.Ages: 3-15
Focus: Building community, confidence, and stewardship for the land.
